Welcome. Match Fishing, particularly Commercial Carp Match Fishing, has seen a massive increase in interest from Pleasure and Match Anglers alike. With venues offering a range of elastic stretching and rod bending mussel packed Carp, it is no wonder the popularity has become unrivalled in modern match fishing. Rolfslake (Nr Oxford, Holton on the Waterperry Rd, Near to Junction 8a off the M40) has become one of the most prolific of all Commercial Match Fishing venues in the United Kingdom.

The venue has produced plenty of match weights over 350lb and hundreds of weights over 200lb. In July 2004 a weight of 103lb was only good enough for 17th place in one of the open matches. These fantastic results have become common place at Rolfslake and the top ten anglers in any given match will each record 100lb plus weights - even in winter. Each summer a weight or two in excess of 500lb has become achievable by some match anglers.

Open matches are fished on Wendesdays , Saturdays and Sundays too, check the calendar for more details. Club matches are welcomed - However, many dates are already taken for 2008 - book early to avoid disappointment.
