Ron Byus took his team 'Match Fishing Scene' to the top of the Rolfslake Spring League with fellow team mates Mark Poppleton and Nick Merry with a fine match win that added to 2 Section wins and a Section 2nd for the Lakes 'Newbie' team.

Ron was drawn on Peg 16 and enjoyed a near double ton in early spring conditions with fish to mid doubles in his 174lb 12oz return. Eslewhere on the lake things were not so simple and straight forward as bites were at a premium, which adds to the single point dropped of the 'MFS' Team. Nice one Lads.
