With over 28 anglers fishing on Wednesday, the lake decided to have one of its more challenging days.
The weather had been changeable in the early part of the week, with rain and a cool breeze putting the fish down during the match.
In first place was Tony Waite who had not been down to the lake for a while ,but made good use of his peg 32 draw. Fishing a combination of up in the water and down the margins to the bush to the left { just past the first shelf} using both pellet and paste hookbait's, Tony put together a winning weight of 157-04 for a deserved win.

Ian McCulloch
In second place was the unstoppable Colin Wedgebrow ,who has been a regular framer in the mid-week opens since April. His no nonsense very positive short range fishing {4 -5 meter line} feeding very heavy 6-8 bags of pellet served him well again, as he fished peg 25 to the edge of the bush on his left for a weight of 145-14. Colin used a combination of banded pellet and paste to put this weight together in the last two hours as the fish feed confidently over his loose feed. Completing the frame was Colin's traveling partner Bill Galt, who fished the margins on peg 34 and up in the water ,fishing banded pellet feeding heavy with pellet for a hard earned weight of 139-04 and only one fish off second place.
As Rolfs absence was noticeable again to the regulars as he continues to have treatment for his very serious condition, the guys would like send him their best wishes and hopes to see him soon.
