As the few anglers waited at the draw ,the weather was due to be cold and wet for the day so the guys had to be prepared for a hard 5 hours.
Rolf was still unable to get down to the lake but the guys still send their best wishes and hope to see him soon.
In first place today was RAF Fox Match sponsored angler Andy Johnstone who was fishing very unused peg 22. This peg has been under water for most of the year. Andy fished 12m for 3 hrs and then 5m to bush for the remaining 2hours and found some good fish for the most of the match.
Andy used a combination pellet fished on the deck to put together his very good weight for this time of year of 276-12 and a deserved win that was a near 200lb clear of the chasing pack.
In second place was Martin Funnell who was fishing the furthest away from Andy in the small lake and peg 38, {which has shown some form recently} and also fished down the edge towards the corner fishing also corn and pellet for his weight of 90-02 .Completing the frame was Dave Wightman who was close to Martin also in the small lake on peg 34,and by fishing along the bouys managed to catch carp to double figures fishing pellet in his weight of 77-08.

The lake continues to fish well in certain pegs, mainly in the main lake in the deeper pegs as the fish look for the warmer water.
Check the draw times with John Bennett before matches to ensure you arrive on time ,and remember there is no Wednesday match next week as the lake is booked out.
