Rolfs' Diary 2007
Summer League Match 2 of 6 Report by Eddy Taylor Green: "Taking a day off fishing today I thought I was comming to watch the best of the best slugging it out for another round of the summer league. What was a nice surprise apart from spending some time chatting to Rolf, was that there was a swimming gala in process with both Danny Richards and Mike Stimson showing some very unusual strokes at the end of the match. It was also nice to see other people for a change missing bites and foulhooking fish apart from me, as Colin Wedgebrow must of foulhooked about 30+ fish in a very frustrated match for him.
John Walker - At the Scales for a 9lb + Carp The big battle was on the big lake with two of the top up in the water anglers going head to head Mick Lane and Ginger, i thought to myself today i am going to learn some good techniques on how to do it properly. Off i went only to see the two anglers only to be greeted by them fishing the feeder about 25mtrs out feeding pellet fishing meat/pellet on the hook.{thats just my luck}.
I had an enjoyable day out with the guys they made me feel very welcome and speaking to Rolf was nice as he was there all day, talking time to talk to the guys fishing he had not seen for a while.
Onwards to round three.
