Freedom Feeds Pellet
My Perfect Pellet Preparation.

By John Bennett
.

Over the last few months many anglers have asked me how I'm preparing the new fishmeal free Pellet from Freedom Feeds. My finished pellet is soft, everyone sinks and I'm confident that I'll take a GOOD bag of fish given the right peg. I've taken nets to 400lb+ from Rolfslake using this pellet. It's so good, no one would believe me that I could do such a good job with the low oil pellets - but with time you can produce a fantastic pellet that has started to win matches at many venues. Don't knock it, try it!

The Starting Dry Pellet

I like the Squid and Liver & the New Chocolate Orange is Awesome!

You'll Need 1pt of Boiling Water

Tip: You can take it to the bank - but it's better done the night before!

Add the bag to a Large Tray

You'll have about 3 pints in a bag of Freedom Feeds pellets.

Add 100ml of Boiling Water

it is important to make sure the tray remains dry at all times. Get this wrong and you'll end up with a few pints of mulish!

Don't be tempted to try and do this quicker - it doesn't work. The water must be boiling too. Don't ask me why but it will not work with cold water.

Keep Pellet Moving

Repeat this twice more - ie 3 lots of 100ml of Boiling water and the tray never gets wet.

Leave to stand for 5 min's.

Add final water - ie the remainder of the 1pt you started with.

Shake pellet well to make sure they absorb all the water in the bowl.

Ready to GO!

Place in sealable plastic bag, for very best results put in fridge overnight for tomorrows match.

Any additive is best added prior to any water - Don't add any oil as it will not absorb any water and Rolf will ban you if your caught - and it's very easy to spot!

Here you can see that the 3 pints of dry expand to at least 4 pints of soft pellet - As a feed pellet you'll go a long way to find a better product.

THERE YOU GO - SORTED!
