Barry Morgan improved on his Wednesday 3rd place with a fine win from peg 38 in the Saturday Open at Rolfslake Oxfordshire. Barry fished paste tight to bank on his left (towards the corner) to take a number of decent fish in a tight match.

Dave Hawkins (Dorchester)

Dave Hawkins (Dorchester) put up a spirited fight from peg 28 with a Luncheon Meat attack, Dave kept the fish interested with loose fed pellet and fished the meat over the top to take 150lb - realistically just 1 fish behind the winner. Gary Page (GOT Baits) took 3rd spot with 139lb from Peg 34 fishing pellet shallow at 7m to complete 3 different methods in the top 3 placing's.

Elsewhere, bites are hard work but those working hardest are being rewarded with decent weights and framing places.
