Rolfs' Diary 2006

Wednesday Open .
30 August 2006

The Wednesday Opens are becoming a procession of wins for either Colin Wedgebrow or Peg 37! and should the two be drawn together - then what chance have the others got? This was the exact case today.

Rolfs Lake Match Winner

Cameron Simms

Colin was more than happy to find himself on the peg he has recorded a number of decent match wins off recently. As usual, Colin fished next to the vacant platform at Peg 38 with his flavoured hard pellet and fed freedom feeds squid and liver pellet by the handful to keep the fish coming.

Colin didn't have it all his own way and only the scales would put to rest the guesses to whether Miles Day on Peg 9 had done enough fishing paste at 4m. Sadly for Miles the scales 'only' registered 322lb to Colin's 337lb 12oz. A decent match was had by all elsewhere with a few double tons and decent number of ton plus weights to pad out the Top Ten scorecard with aplomb.

Please Note: the League Matches are now 12pm Draw

Good Hope

Young Frazier continued to impress fishery owner, Rolf, with a fine display from on one of the 'Big' fish pegs at the venue - Peg 34. Without doubt
