Summer League Day 3 of 6
Colin Wedgebrow continued some good form with a fine display fishing just 4m on the deck with hard 6 and 8mm pellet of very heavy lose feed to produce a match winning 288lb 4oz. Well beaten in second place with 238lb 2oz from peg 37 was Mark Butterworth. Mark fished next to peg 38 with paste baits and like Colin he fed heavy over the top of his presented bait.
Neil Butterworth (Stock Photo) Mick Lane on peg 34 finished just 2oz's behind Mark but fished 14m and sprayed for his net busting return. Frank Wedgebrow enjoyed a good draw and returned a 4th place 225lb fishing paste close to the bank on his left back towards peg 8. |
