One of the best and tightest matches so far this year. Fishing continues to improve with fish moving around most pegs and the water has started to colour up well. Expect weights to increase this weekend.

Rolfs Lake Match Winner

'L. Mead'

Barry Morgan led the way with a fine 167lb ahead of Phil Powell on the next peg who took 164lb that included an 8lb Chub, the 4th in as many weeks for the Oxfordshire Complex.

A fish of a lifetime. The photo's never do the Chub any favors at Rolfslake, it's so hard to gage the width of these fish from just one photo. Again, this was a young fish that could go on to smash the UK Chub record.

The Fisherman's Friends matchman enjoyed another good match at Rolfslake with 1 of the 6 Ton plus weights to come out during the Wednesday Open Match.

Dave Lewis

Dave found out that it doesn't take too many fish to make 100lb, unfortunately this was just about as good as it got for Dave today as he struggled for any other fish.
