Matt returned a net-busting 256lb 4oz to keep GOT Baits backed Matt Nutt in second place with 246lb 8oz on Peg 8 - winch is in full view of Peg 30 to add to the great competition in the battle of the Matt's
Yet again the lake fished really well with Ton plus weights filling the top 10, the consistant results are a fine reflection of Rolfs hard work on the lake this year following his retirement earlier this year - this has allowed him spend every day down the lake getting things 'ship shape' Well done Rolf! The best bait at the moment seems to be paste. The bait usually accounts for most of the big weights in August - or indeed most of the summer and this year has been no exception. The venue has seen some of the best backing weights since we started recording them some 5 years ago.
