Justin 'Gunners' Down 34 Doubles Former Arsenal Footballer Justin Lee bagged up with more than a hat-trick with a belting 36 Carp, including 34 Doubles in a fantastic days fishing at Rolfslake Oxfordshire. The former Oxford City and Abingdon Town man made his name with a move to Arsenal known as the 'Gunners', but looks to set the Carp World on fire with a winter bag of fish that would prove to be a day that many Carp Anglers dreams are made of and sure to make the weekly press next week.
Justin's biggest fish went 21lb, a superb Common. Justin added 33 other doubles that included a 19lb 14oz Common that was just a few ounces short of his best fish of the day. All the fish where taken on 12mm popped up white chocolate boilies on peg 25 as he fished towards peg 17. |
