Rolfs' Diary 2006
Sunday Open Plenty of ton's in the Sunday Open and Phil Powell's treble ton was a worthy winning weight on what was a great day's fishing for all match anglers attending the Oxfordshire Complex..
Phil Powell's treble ton was taken from Peg 9 whilst fishing shallow at 10m. It didn't take Phil long to find some fish and soon settled down to take a good run of fish in the first hour and got better and better as the match went on. There were no less than 4 more double tons and a hole hat full of ton plus weights. The blistering temperatures that topped 32 deg in the south today didn't put the fish off and those that fished were rewarded with some great fishing. |
