Only the weather was miserable for the Rolfslake Sunday Open. Ernie Malyon took top honors with a clear win with 68lb 12oz of Carp from Peg 15. Ernie fished large bunches of Maggot on the hook and alternated with Meat hook baits to keep the fish interested.

Elsewhere, Russell Alexander drew Peg 24 and converted his draw bag favorite into second place and a decent frame for the Rolfslake matchman. Chris Davis took 3rd spot from the ever consistent peg 15 with 31lb 4oz, whilst G.O.T Baits team mate Gary Thorpe took the last frame place with 25lb 8oz - 13lb 8oz of this was made up from Silver fish which was good enough to win the Silver Fish Coin as well.
