Rolf was impressed with the standard of angler at the Boxmoor Social Club as no fewer than 8 of the matchmen returned Ton Up weights. Clive Whitehead won the day with a fantastic 183lb 4oz from Peg 18. Clive used paste and pellet baits over 4mm loose fed pellet.

With 14 Ton Up bags and a hand full of big 90's today, Frank found the going little too hot - although the 30 Deg's and bright sun was more than welcome.

The runners up spot was contested by no fewer than 5 anglers spit between 136lb and 157lb - the 21lb is easy to take when the Carp are running into double figures on a regular basis. On average 4 fish would have just about bridged the gap on a good day. On a better day the gap could have been bridged with a single fish!

Rolf enjoyed the company of Boxmoor SC who enjoyed a great day match fishing at Rolfslake. Rolf would like to extend our best wishes to Tim Irving and wish him all the best and a speedy recovery - looking forward to seeing you all at the next match or one of the opens.

	Clive Whitehead 187lb from peg 18 reflects the good match that Clive had today. Match Fishing at it's very best. Carp to double figures and 8 weights over 100lb.
	Del Smith For the 2nd time this weekend peg 32 came 2nd in a fishing match. Del Smith enjoyed his 150lb plus - but would have enjoyed an extra 40lb more!.

	Ross Miller Ross seems to have fitted the whole 5m of the No12 Elastic in his power top 2! Rumors had it he eventually landed the fish late Monday morning. (Sorry Ross, only kidding! Rolf also commented that Boxmoor SC were amongst the best club based match outfit to visit the lake for some time - well done lads!).
