  "Nice one Russell, new PB for GOT Baits Matchman "

Russell Alexander rewarded his new sponsor GOT Baits with an overdue appearance into the Rolfslake Hall of Fame with an arm wrenching 367lb 8oz. Fishing with the newly released GOT Paste and 4 & 6mm feed pellets the GOT Baits matchman made hay as the fish lined up to take his hookbait which was presented just a few inches from the inside bank to the right at Peg 34. Russell also set a new personal best and added his name to the few UK Matchmen to have taken over 350lb in 5hrs.

Elsewhere, fishing very well. Plenty of fish being taken on large lumps of paste. On the harder pegs, fishing shallow over constant feed will trigger a response eventually, but you'll need to be patient to build any big weights.

John Hague (Rolfslake) took a new PB from peg 32 with 321lb for runners-up spot ahead of Pete Arnold (Fisherman's Cabin) on Peg 13. Pete took most of his fish on cubes of luncheon meat but fell short of the magical 300lb with 279lb 8oz.
