John Walker (Pewsey) blitzed his own match record with a new personal best from Peg 7 at Rolfslake this afternoon. Peg 7 had shown some good form recently for Gary Thorpe, but John Walker made no errors, taking fish from the off and finishing well in the final few hours. Having hauled 287lb to the scales, John's win was so much sweeter knowing that he had drawn the Golden Peg to boot! For the record John fished Pellet on the deck in front of the platform at peg 8, fortunately there was no one on Peg 8 at the time!.

Elsewhere, Paste becoming more and more the bait to be on. Those that caught from the off on Paste managed decent returns today. With a total of 15 Ton Up weights today, a weight of 200lb was only good enough for 6th place! Now that's baggin!
