Matt Nutt (GOT Baits) made no mistakes when he drew Peg 37 in the Bank Holiday Monday Open at Rolfslake. The peg had previously won on the Saturday and Sunday and Matt returned a comfortable 135lb to win with 32lb in the net spare. By rotating between fishing on top of the bar at 11m and into the slightly deeper water at 15m, Matt kept the bites coming as he plundered the waiting Carp on 6mm soft hook baits.

Coincidently, all the top weights came from the little lake with Ian Higgins topping the best of the rest list with 103lb 8oz from Peg 2. Gary Thorpe (GOT Baits) fell short of the Ton from Peg 6, but his 92lb was good enough to keep Norman McCullam's (Calvert AC) 90lb in 4th place.
