Sunday 18th Sept 2005 - Club

Darren Stonehouse
(Trabucco Central GAAS)
Peg 6 - 103lb 8oz

"Weights drop with Cold Driving Rain and dipping temperatures "

Following last weekends World Record breaking weights the driving cold rain and dipping temperatures made sure there was not repeat to the back breaking hauls that topped 490lb 8oz.

Darren Stonehouse fished 8m on the deck with expander pellet over 4mm hard pellet for the only Ton Up bag of the day. Mike Stimson would have won the match had he been allowed to weigh in the branch he hauled out of peg 7 - Rolf commented that "at least it pulled his Red Hydro Elastic out" (Mike - I think Rolf would like you to slacken those off a little??) For the record, Mike fished back towards the lilly pads at the 16m limit allowed within the fisheries rules. Again an expander pellet over hard pellet was the key to a few bites.

Pete Archer
(Vespe)

Pete is proving to be Mr Consistent at Rolfslake. Added to his good results today.

Luke Whittaker made up the best of the rest with Pete Archer, Mike Jones and Russell Alexander snapping at his heals for that extra coin. Luke fished at 8m on soft hooker pellet over hard pellet for 78lb.
