Steve
Rowe (Milton) For
the 5th match out of 6 a combination of good angler and Peg 14 proved
unstoppable. (Now that sounds a bit harsh on the angler that didn't
win!) However, Milton Keynes backed angler Steve Rowe made no mistake
following the draw as he ran to Peg 14. Fishing at 14.5m, Steve
presented sweetcorn and pellets for an all Carp 82lb 8oz winning
return.
In second
place was Gary Thorpe (Peg 23) who found himself just off the pace
with a creditable return of 61lb 4oz's - some 30lb clear of the
chasing pack headed by Simons 2000 angler Dave Wightman.
Elsewhere.
A big influx of cold water and Heavy frosts slowed sport again this
weekend. Dave Bowman, Hounslow, produced the best
silver fish weight of the day to take the back to back sunday wins
in the silverfish pool. Trevor Jeans produce 13lb of red fins in
an hours fishing and kicked himself for not switching earlier. Don't
forget your maggots next week!
