REVIEW
Roy Miller plays a good Carp at Rolfslake
Elsewhere
Most Pegs Solid with fish. Pellet up in the water working as good as anything else. Paste on the right peg is bagging double figure fish. Book early for next week end ...
Clive Whitehead
(Boxmoor Social Club)
266lb Peg 37
Having fished it's head off on the Saturday, it was no surprise that Peg 37 ran away with the Boxmoor Social Club's match at Rolfslake. However, drawing a flyer and converting it to a match is never straight forward. Clive Whitehead made no mistakes by taking around 40 fish to double figures on a sun baked afternoon in Oxfordshire. Clive fished with Paste and Pellet at 8m following a quick start the peg slowed but constant feeding kept the fish coming. A good days fishing was had by all anglers as Tony Browett underlined with a fantastic 219lb from Peg 32. A handful of other anglers broke the magical TON with a few of these unlucky not to convert the net busting weights to double figures.

Near 200lb bag for Peg 4

Constant feed had a lot of Carp 'boiling' in the Peg but could convert the visual fish action into fish in the net as Carp got finicky up in the water. Although, Tony still returned a belting 112lb.

Simon Douthwaite

66lb from Peg 8!
Clive Whitehead
Boxmoor Social Club
Match winner from 37 with 40 Carp to double figures.
Rees Smith
Boxmoor Social Club
A good weight from a hard peg for Rees.
Tony Browett
Boxmoor Social Club
219lb 12oz for Tony Browett on Peg 32. A belting weight from the current lake record holding Peg. Tony fished close but struggled and switched to 8m with Paste to take a number of good fish to double figures.
Did
you fish this match and I've missed out (or messed up!) some of the details?
