| Chris
Bevis (Twyford)
Drawn
on the Peg of the moment, Chris made no mistakes in converting
a good draw into the match winners coin. Protected from the
strong wind Chris fished at 16m with relative ease and loose
fed 4mm pellet to the eager Carp that seem to have taken their
summer lodgings early this year! With plenty of fish in the
peg Chris experimented with the depth and settled on catching
the fish up in the water and feeding heavy.
Colin
Storey (Ton Up Baits)
Close
behind Chirs Bevis was Ton Up Baits angler Colin Storey. Drawn
on Peg 15, Colin fished at 16m and also used pellet fished
up in the water over sprayed pellet. Colin finished with 164lb
8oz - just 14lb clear of Kevin Arathoon on Peg 17 with 150lb
and third place.

Elsewhere
Small/Shallow
half of the lake started slowly (and then ground to a halt!)
Anglers on non corner pegs struggled for the odd fish. However,
elsewhere plenty of bites on most pegs with the odd exception.
Small amounts of pellet and often seems to be the key at the
moment.
