Heavy Cold Rain - Sound familiar?

Overnight rain had dropped the water temperature to 54DegF from a healthy 58-9F! and as could be predicted the Carp failed to feed. To make things worse an annoying SSW wind pushed across the lake to make presentation awkward at best.

R Spence (Sensas Image) took the honors from Peg 23 with a close to 70lb bag. Local Angler I Higgins (Oxford MG) drawn on the favored Peg 24 fell just one fish short of victory but enjoyed good sport with his 60lb catch. Both anglers fished at 16m and varied the depth to take the odd fish.

On the day most anglers struggled for bites. Trabucco backed rod Andy Johnstone drawn on Peg 7 and Sensas Image backed John Weedon drawn on Peg32 both fished hard for 50lb plus bags with John nudging Andy into 4th with 50-12-0 to Andy's' 50-08-0.
