Slow Start for Early Risers

Anglers booked in for the Saturday AM Match made best of a slow start and increasing winds. Tony Yianni (Banstead) made good use of Peg 26 in taking a match winning 107-08 - the only Ton Up weight to come from the Morning Match.

Paul Williams, also Banstead, sat on Peg 15 in full view of team mate Tony. At one stage the anglers were fish for fish but it was Paul that lost out at the scales - just one Carp short of victory.

3rd and 4th place went to Alan and Mark Harrington (Davies Angling) with 89-08 and 89lb respectively.
