Following the adverse weather conditions over the last few weeks, this was the first match since 4th Jan. However, a sharp overnight frost and a bitter wind kept the weights down. Rolf blamed the influx of River water in recent weeks and very high Lake levels as the main reason for the absent Carp. Dave Hawkins, noteably landed a 6lb Chub and one small Carp but failed to lure an additional 'Lump' that would have seen him frame. Pegs on the Car Park bank once again produced as a few fish milled around the noted bar at this part of the lake. Prestwood and District angler P Stratfull fished Sweetcorn and Pellet at Peg 24 for a winning 46-0-0. The rest of the frame came from 25, 26, 27 and 16.
