REVIEW

Rolfslake Match Fishing Carp Winner

Winner Stan Robak - Maidenhead Baits

Stan's the Man

Stan Robak (Maidenhead Baits) Drawn on winter hot spot Peg 14, it was Stan Robak (Maidenhead Baits) who took full advantage of a right angler/peg combination. Fishing at 15-16m Stan took all the bites on offer for a match winning 70lb 12oz. Again sweetcorn was the killer bait, but it was the pellet that kept the fish in the peg.

Gary Thorpe (Ton Up Baits)    An off day for both Peg 17 and Gary Thorpe, the TUB backed angler returned 56lb for the Runners up Spot. Gary never got into much of a rhythm until it was too late. Still, there's always tomorrow! (98lb and 1st!!!! if i was a betting man!!!?????)

Mike Stimpson (Didcot Angling) Unlucky peg 13 produced a few bites for Mike to return a framing weight of 48lb 08oz and third place. As with most of the Anglers, Mike fished a long as he could in the wet and cold conditions with Sweetcorn and Pellet.

Elsewhere. Wet and Bloody Cold. Again no one went for the Silver fish coin.... Christmas coming up and all that....
