A mild period overnight had seen water temp rise back to 50 Degs F. But on a down side the wind had also picked up and blustery conditions hampered fishing up in the water at 16m - a tactic that dominates the frame at Rolfs!

The conditions did not effect Daiwa backed Tommy Hillier who cruised to an impressive 142-04-0 from statistically speaking the best peg on the lake. Tommy fished at 15-16m with pellet up in the water over sprayed pellets. Next door on 25 was M Godard (Simons 2000) who fell just a few fish short of the top spot with 113-14-0 and likewise employed tatics identical to Tommy. Another Ton-up bag came to 3rd placed Hounslow backed angler Tony West with 107-08-0. VDE backed Steve Townsend finished fourth just short of the ton with 99-08-0. Steve was witness to a new lake record Chub of a collosal 7-04-0 by tenth placed T Wild (Photo soon to be in Hall of fame!)
