Wednesday Evening 4hrs

P Upperton found sport a little busy on the Wednesday Evening 4hr Special. Drawn on Peg 13, the Meat Basher backed angler made short work of a quick 233-04. Fishing close in, sport at first was a little slow but as the sun lowered over the lake carp went on a feeding frenzy. Fishing tight to the bank with Pellet baits he found the Carp in good numbers from the Peg that hold the lake record.

Trevor Price 4th on Peg 4 - Ton Up Baits

80lb was required to make the top ten (as above) and 150lb only good enough for 5th for Trabucco backed Andy Johnstone. Andy had previously taken a 120lb+ for a match win in a Chiltern Angling League Match earlier today.

Wednesday Matches are run during the summer on a pre-booked peg basis.

Graham King, Gary Thorpe and Trevor Price made up 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively with 178, 170 and 155lb. Not a bad return for a 4 hour evening match.
