Robin
Flowers (Maidenhead Baits) Robin started fishing tight
against the bank with a Paste hook bait, but found himself with
too many feeding fish and the bites consequently suffered as liners
became unmanageable. A switch to a line back towards the far bank
Peg 8 produced a good run of fish. Before long the Maidenhead Baits
backed angler had amassed a net busting total of 276-04 for a popular
win.

Thorpe (Ton Up Baits) Drawn on Peg 35 fished a positive
line of Paste over Pellet at 8m's and looked to be on for yet another
big weight. When the scales arrived it was obvious that he would
push Robin's return but with 275-12 the Ton Up Baits angler could
only manage second place

Andy Johnstone from peg 32 took a creditable third place, Andy too
fished a short 9m line with Paste.
