but as the picture shows (Left) both Trevor Price and Gary Thorpe
are never too far away! Peter could afford the smile after he had
returned a creditable 150lb for a match win from the bonus Golden
Peg. Pete employed the same tactic that has been at the core of
his recent match win; fishing at around 8m with Paste over Ton Up
Pellet.
Ian
Higgins (Tarquin AC) Drawn on Peg 9, on the opposite bank
to Peter, Ian also fished a short line with paste over a good bed
of Pellet for his runners up return of 140-12.
Elsewhere
- With a total of 9 Tons on the Saturday match, and the winner taking
only 150lb, the hole top ten at one stage during the match would
have been in contention. Fish continue to feed well with Paste the
top producer at the moment. Fish still taking baits from the top
for those wishing to indulge.
