RARE WIN FOR PEG 30

Having drawn Peg 30, Gary Thorpe's run of 'Iffy' Pegs seemed to have continued.   However, the Ton Up Baits backed angler took good advantage of his sponsors new Paste product and proceeded to return a match winning 164-04.   Gary fished shorter than the others around him, this peg seems to respond well to a 11-13m line rather than 14-16m. Infact the last match win on this peg was fished at 4m under the bush.   

Once again, just one 8lb fish seperated runner-up Gary Knight (Hounslow) on Peg 7 with 128lb and the eventual 5th placed angler Andy Johnstone (Tek-Neek Trabucco) who took 120lb.   R Grant took 3rd spot and the ever popular Bernie Fraser 4th.
