| Paul
Bowen (Harefield) won
the Drennan Superleage match held at Rolfslake on Sunday. With
temperatures reaching close to 30DegC the Carp switched off and
cruised around the lake to the frustration of the anglers. Paul
was drawn on corner peg 4 and fished just 5m out for his winning
86lb.
Trevor
Pearce (Oxford A4) made full use of Peg 8 by fishing tight
to the far side grasses to take runners up spot with 77-02 of Carp.
Elsewhere
bites were hard to come buy. As the day passed more and more fish
switched to patrolling the the surface. With high pressure
forecast into the week there is a strong chance of some fish spawning
again, and as such the patrolling fish had anything but feeding
on their minds.
The
Drennan match was split over two fisheries and all results will
published in the Angling Weekly Press.
